The Adventures of Moxi Vos.
The fourth member of the family. A baby boy called Moxi Vos. To honour a new life and to celebrate this new chapter, I created an ode to baby Moxi Vos.
I made him an ode in which I translated the core values of his family:
love - space - adventure - growth.
So I made his zodiac Cancer with planets made out of baby “kooltjes” (cabbage as the mothers name is Kool) painted in earthy tones and herbal bottles (as his fathers an orthomoleculair therapist) coming together in the middle where the cabbage ends up in an herbal bottle. The little fox is white, as that was the colour the mother thought of when she envisioned him in her belly and the green marble foot is a wink to the fathers dj-name Forest of Heroes. This little hero walks on the path which is paved by stars that guide him and his loving family.
Materials: glass, marble and the elements in the bell jar are existing materials, given new purpose.
