Twenty Questions.

Custom Ode is an art form where I take personal stories and emotions and turn them into a custom-made artwork. Imagine commissioning a portrait, but instead of just capturing someone’s appearance, it also reflects important life moments and emotions. For example, I recently created a piece for a woman that combined elements from her childhood, her favorite trips, and some of the most meaningful moments in her life. The process starts with a conversation to get to know the person, and the final result is a unique, emotional, and beautiful artwork that tells their story.

1. What is the first thing that comes to mind when you think of the subject? Consider personality traits, hobbies, favorite colors, scents, or anything that makes it unique.

2. Are there specific moments or memories with the subject that you will always remember?

3. How would you describe your relationship? Are there special habits or traits that you share?

4. What are the most memorable adventures or moments you’ve experienced together?

5. What connects you the most? Are there rituals, shared interests, or habits that strengthen your bond?

6. How do you complement each other? What is characteristic of your time together?

7. Does the subject have any favorite movies, books, shows, or music? Are there specific genres or artists that truly resonate with them?

8. Where does the love for specific hobbies come from, and what attracts her most in doing them?

9. What does the subject enjoy doing the most in their free time? Are there specific hobbies or activities they loves besides the passion for that specific hobby?

10. What is the most beautiful moment you’ve shared together, and what made it so special for both of you?

11. Have you gone through difficult times together that brought you closer? What did you learn from those experiences?

12. Was there a particular moment when your relationship deepened, like a special date or another meaningful gesture?

13. Does the subject have a job? If so, what kind of work do they do, and how does it influence their daily life or personality?

14. Does the subject have any big dreams or ambitions their working toward? Are there projects or goals they are especially passionate about?

15. Do you have any tangible memories from important moments, like photos, letters, or items that hold special significance for the two of you?

16. Is there a specific object that symbolizes a key moment in your relationship, like a gift, a souvenir, or something they always keeps with them?

17. What kind of family does the subject come from? How is their relationship with the family members, and does family play an important role in their life?

18. Have you spent much time together with family? Are there any special moments or traditions within your families that are important to you both?

19. Are there any family traditions or special gatherings that are particularly meaningful to the subject or to both of you?

20. Is there anything you absolutely want to include in the ode, or something you definitely don’t want? Are there any specific preferences or characteristics that are important for the subject that should be taken into account?
